Hotel Basant Vihar Palace, Bikaner

Hidden away in a secluded area, the hotel is surrounded by well laid out gardens , fragrant flower beds and soothing lily ponds. And Though it is completely refurbished from the inside, great care has been taken to preserve the original character of the rooms - 31 in all including 7 suites, all of which are fully air conditioned and fitted with satellite televisions.

The Basant Vihar Palace was built because of a fanciful desire of His Highness Maharaja Ganga Singh ji, a connosseur of architecture and one blessed with an artistic sense. It was designed by him to be a separate pleasure garden adjoining the Zanana bagh (Royal Ladies Garden). In 1993, the House of Bikaji converted this masterpiece of architecture in to a heritage hotel - Hotel Basant Vihar Palace. An endeavour to offer tourists a true flavour of history and royal living ( as opposed to the usual star-category hotels ), Hotel Basant Vihar Palace today, remains a garden of eternal spring.

The Hotel is a culture itself

As the hotel relates itself to the Maharaja's times, the royalness and ethnic culture is sure to follow the ideals. This heritage of ancient times embraces every visitor with the warmth of love, bringing alive the true flavour of Rajasthan. The garden, the courtyard, every bit and piece of it awaits you. Rural folks, their music, their dresses, their tradition and the soft touch on your senses keeps the spirits alive. Yes, Bikaner is alive and Hotel Basant Vihar Palace is a part of this lively culture which you are going to experience throughout your tour.

We invite you to share a moment of Bikaner's life. The colorful bazaars, the festivities and a whole lot of tradition will come your way unknowingly, without a hush.

Staying at our place isn't just staying, it's a living a full life, living in a time which belongs to Rajas and the Maharajas. So come and share our joy in letting you explore Bikaner. Have a nice trip. ENTER !!
